This advanced turning project uses both faceplate and spindle-turning techniques. The wire holes are drilled through the spindles by using a 5/16” auger bore that is designed to be inserted through the hole on the ram on the tail stock. The base is turned by using a 6” faceplate. Be certain to read, understand and follow all instructions that come with the tools and products that you use in the woodshop. Work safely and have fun!
