This Huck Finn pattern is sawn from 1/8” thick Baltic birch. Saw kerf lines become the artist’s pencil. Two tips: Use a #2 blade and run the scroll saw at a medium-speed setting. The fine blade will break very easily if it is forced during high-speed cuts. So turn the speed down, take slow, easy cuts and have fun. The original pattern is courtesy of the Scroller Guys of the early 1990s. Many other similar plans can be found in any of the great Scroll Saw Magazines and newsletters.
